The Cross-Bit L & LS tip series is designed for precision soldering with a focus on durability and performance. These tips feature a black chromium finish on the outside and a lead-free solder coating where it matters most. They come in a variety of shapes like pointed, chisel, bevel, knife, and spoon, with options for long (L-type) or short (LS-type) lengths. Each tip is built to handle around 20,000 to 25,000 solder joints, depending on usage. A key advantage is the close placement of the temperature sensor to the tip, ensuring fast and accurate heat control. Thanks to a modular design, the heater and tip can be replaced separately, cutting down on waste and saving on cost. Custom orders are available in sets of 10, and these tips work well with both lead-free and leaded solders. For best results, operating temperatures should range between 250°C and 450°C.
