Robotic Soldering Add-ons

There are a few different types of robotic soldering add-ons that you can consider depending on your specific needs and requirements. Here are some common options:

Vision System (Fiducial Correction)

Fiducial correction refers to a technique used in computer vision to correct for distortions in images caused by camera movement or other factors. Fiducials are points or markers placed in the scene that serve as reference points for the correction algorithm. The algorithm uses the known positions of the fiducials to calculate the distortion and apply a correction to the image.

Multitasking in programming refers to the ability of a program or operating system to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. This can be achieved through various techniques, such as time-sharing or multiprocessing. Multitasking can improve the efficiency and responsiveness of a system, as multiple tasks can be performed in parallel without requiring the user to wait for each task to complete before starting the next one.

Both fiducial correction and multitasking can be useful in a wide range of applications, from computer vision and image processing to operating system design and software development. By using these techniques, programmers can improve the performance and accuracy of their applications, making them more efficient and user-friendly.

Soldering Tester

Soldering tester for both robotic and manual soldering. In addition to the tip temperature, Uni-Tester can measure the tip leakage voltage and ground resistance simultaneously. (also available for hand soldering) Compatible with the latest international standards such as the new IEC-61191-1 (Ed3 / 2018) and IPC J-STD-001G.

・The tester that can measure tip temperature, the tip leakage voltage and ground resistance.
・Separate system (controller and sensor unit) considering installation onto a robot.
・The tester can deliver and share records to external devices with serial communication.
・The records can be utilized in various applications such as automatic tip temperature offset.
・The measuring range of ground resistance is 0-999kΩ, compatible with IEC-61191-1 (Ed3 / 2018).
・The measuring range of the tip leakage voltage corresponds to IEC-61191-1 (Ed3 / 2018), IPC J-STD-001G, JIS-C61191-1.
・”PEAK HOLD ” function that holds the highest value and “AUTO ZERO ” function that resets leakage voltage and ground resistance.

Tip Position

An automatic position corrector that can detect even 0.05mm of slippage is a very precise and sensitive system. Such a system would likely use some type of sensor or feedback mechanism to detect any slippage and automatically correct the position of the object being monitored.

One possible approach for detecting small amounts of slippage is to use an optical or laser-based sensor system. The sensor would emit a beam of light that is directed towards the object being monitored, and would detect any changes in the position or movement of the object based on how the light is reflected back to the sensor.

Brush Cleaner

Solder residual is a harsh and abrasive material that can quickly wear down the tips of robotic soldering equipment, leading to decreased performance and shorter lifespan. To address this issue, a specialized tool is available off the shelf. Brush cleaner. The solder residual removal tool consists of a small box with twin brushes within the robot's reach.

By removing solder from the soldering tip, the tool helps to prevent damage and wear that can occur during the soldering operation, which can ultimately lead to longer tip life and improved performance. This can be particularly beneficial in high-volume production environments where soldering equipment is frequently used and requires regular maintenance to ensure consistent performance.

Overall, the carbide removal tool is an essential tool for anyone who uses robotic soldering equipment and wants to maximize the lifespan and performance of their soldering tips.

Traceability Scanner

The Traceability Scanner comes with different features and specifications, such as high-speed scanning, long-range reading, and built-in Ethernet connectivity. They are commonly used in manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing industries to improve productivity, traceability, and quality control.

Inline Conveyor

The function of an inline conveyor is to move the pcba from one location to another in a continuous and efficient manner, without requiring manual intervention or handling.

The benefits of using an inline conveyor include increased efficiency, reduced labor costs, improved safety, and greater control over the movement of materials or products. Additionally, inline conveyors can be customized to meet specific manufacturing or distribution requirements, such as the need for high-speed operation, precise product positioning, or specialized handling of fragile or delicate items.
